Kelly’s work employs mixed media such as sculpture, photography, video, and painting. Themes she explores are fairy-tales, memory, escape, dreams, and child-hood experiences. These themes most often center around story-telling both biographical or fantastical. In her most recent exhibition entitled “One’s Own Room” Kelly took a playful and therapeutic approach to expressing some very personal trials, tribulations, and transformations; such as the pains of lost love, and the transformations one must endure to heal and become anew.

After living and working in Toronto Ontario for the past 15 years, Kelly has returned to Hamilton and is delighted to be a member of the James North Studio Collective.
