Kelly Drennan is a multidisciplinary artist who was born in Hamilton Ontario.
She received an Honours Bachelors Degree in Studio Art from the University of Toronto
and a Diploma in Graphic Design from George Brown College.
Kelly’s work employs mixed media such as sculpture, photography, video, and painting. Themes she explores are fairy-tales, memory, escape, dreams, and child-hood experiences. These themes most often center around story-telling both biographical or fantastical. In her most recent exhibition entitled “One’s Own Room” Kelly took a playful and therapeutic approach to expressing some very personal trials, tribulations, and transformations; such as the pains of lost love, and the transformations one must endure to heal and become anew.
