[...] Gise Trattmansdorff is a more recent addition to the collective but one who has quietly impressed me every time her diminutive ceramics make an appearance in the gallery. Their subtle textures defy the capacities of my iPhone’s mediocre camera (yes, if you were wondering why the photos are so crap, turns out I forgot to re-insert the battery in my proper camera before going out; clearly, I’m out of practice), but the biomorphic forms floating over each white tile are beautifully insubstantial with the appearance of ash that might blow away with the slightest breath. The intimate scale of her works means that they are often relegated to the corners of any exhibition in which they appear; it does a disservice to Trattmansdorff’s ceramics, which I hope will receive a stronger presence in a solo or two-person show in the near future.
Hi Colleen: I would like to purchase 11 new drawer pulls for my kitchen cupboards. You made a number of them for me a couple of years ago, and we have since moved to new home with more cupboards. I am not particular regarding colours or patterns as I enjoy all your work. Many thanks! Janine
